Considering the slight changes in proximity of Hurricane Dean to the Cayman Islands, Water Authority officials have opted to wait for the 4:00 p.m. advisory to make a final decision on water cut off times.

Water Authority Cayman Islands Director Gelia Frederick-van Genederen confirms that at least four hours notice will be given prior to shut off. She also said that the Authority will issue a joint release with the Cayman Water Company as they will both have the same cut off time.
