Drivers, Be Careful

Motorists are advised that West Bay Road at the Marriott Courtyard is still closed, and that they also should avoid South Sound Road.

Persons driving to and from West Bay are asked to use the Esterly Tibbetts Highway instead of West Bay Road, which still has debris from Hurricane Dean.

South Sound Road should be avoided because National Roads Authority staff are clearing debris. This effort is being hampered by traffic from both directions.

In general, the public is asked to drive with care, as some debris may still be on the roadways.
