From Hazard Management Cayman Islands’ Joint Communications Service (JCS)

Hazard Management Cayman Islands advises the public that no curfew has so far been declared for Gustav.

However, Sister Islands’ residents should already be taking shelter. On Grand Cayman, other than essential service personnel, people should stay off the roads after 4:00 p.m. today (Friday, 28 August), for their own safety.

Members of the public on all three islands should remain indoors until advised otherwise.
