The National Weather Service is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Erika

The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida continues to issue advisories on Tropical Storm Erika, which at 10 a.m. was located near 16.9 N 63.5 W or 200 miles east-southeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Erika is moving west-northwest at 8 mph with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph.

THIS STORM POSES NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS.
