Brac Disaster Preparedness

Residents of Cayman Brac are invited to attend the Aston Rutty Centre at 7 pm on Thursday, August 12, for a special presentation on earthquakes and hurricanes. Officials from Hazard Management Cayman Islands, the National Weather Service, Lands and Survey, District Administration and Sister Islands representative Miss Juliana O'Connor-Connolly will be at the Aston Rutty Centre to answer your questions and concerns. Light refreshments will be served.

If you want to learn more about the work of the National Weather Service, and about the earthquake and hurricane threats then come along. That is 7 pm on Thursday evening at the Aston Rutty Centre.

As we move towards the peak months of the hurricane season all residents are strongly encouraged to prepare and remain vigilant.
