Tropical Storm Paula Moving North West

At 10 pm Tropical Storm Paula was located near 16.8 N 84.6W or about 272 miles south west of Grand Cayman. The storm is strengthening. Maximum sustained winds are 70 mph. Present movement is north west at 10 mph.

TS Paula poses no immediate threat to the Cayman Islands, but the National Weather Service is monitoring the system and residents are urged to maintain a high level of preparedness.
