Tropical Storm Tomas Bulletin

The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida has issued an advisory on Tropical Storm Tomas, which at 10 a.m. was located near 16.3 N 76.1 W or about 125 miles south-southeast of Kingston Jamaica. Tomas is currently moving towards the north at about 8 mph with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph.

THIS STORM POSES NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS.

However, all interests within the Cayman Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this storm. The current forecast track moves Tomas in a northerly direction with a northeastward turn expected tonight.
